T. I heard you talk about the fact that you’re going to the Emperor show a couple times. I looked at the tour dates..nothing comes here anymore. The last show I saw. Electric wizard in 2019. No big acts come to Philly anymore. I’d love to see emperor. Those rules really suck. I’m sorry to hear that.
More and more venues have gotten really STUPID on shit - esp in Chi Town, where a kinda PARANOIA about ''mass shootings'' reigns. Its very BINARY.
Last summer, me and the Fellas saw the MURDER JUNKIES at REGGIE'S in the South Loop - AWSUM venue. They didn't even FRISK people. Then there's the ARAGON which apparently NOW has airport rules.
I'm FINE with a PAT DOWN and a NO WEAPONS policy. I am NOT OK w/being told I cannot have my BACKPACK with me, or a CANE if I need it for walking or cigarettes - and I'm NOT abiding some high school DRESS CODE. That's dopey shit.
That sucks. Hope it all worked out, and if it didn’t, fuck those guys.

I’ve been re-listening to the WW2 series you did with Pete, and it really is fantastic. You mentioned how Salerno wasn’t quite as bad as the Hurtgen Forest*- I would love to hear you do an episode(s) on Salerno and Anzio. I’m doing some writing/research that involves the 45 Inf Div, so if you have any books to recommend on those landings, please let me know.
*My great uncle was a BAR man, and they fed him into the Hurtgen as his baptism of fire. I’m the only one he really ever said anything about the war to, which wasn’t much, but the forest was every bit the nightmare you described on Myth/20th. Honestly, I think a lot of people would love your take on a great many of the battles.
