SITREP (OGC CONCLAVE!)

HI EVERYBODY!

I’m aware it appears I have been somewhat INERT lately - I’ve been resting/fasting and gathering psychic and physical strength to go on the ROAD this coming THURSDAY to attend the OLD GLORY CLUB event down SOUTH; and if all goes well, I’m going to be hitting the road for the WEST COAST this summer.

I’m also abiding a diligent schedule as regards working on my MANUSCRIPT for my book.

So long as I am alive and drawing air (and GOD forbid not totally crippled or something catastrophically debilitating) I’ll continue to spend as much time as I can on the ROAD, visiting our peoples and spreading the NEWS to all the YOUNG DUDES. But its getting HARDER. You become aware when you age that living is a process of slowly dying - and that is OK. There is nothing to be afraid of or to despair over - but its NOT for the faint of heart.

I’m in an unusual position in this regard - I am AWARE of what is going to eventually kill me and I can FEEL it happening; albeit very slowly and not at all imminently. There are days when I have an abundance of restless energy, and days when it is hard to even get out of bed. Be that as it may, I increasingly need to REST and gather strength prior to going on the ROAD.

Mind you, my life is AWSUM - and I am the luckiest person I know. I am NOT playing martyr or wallowing in self pity. I just owe it to OUR FRIENDS and the SUBS to explain why when I am not available and when my weekly content/work product is comparatively sparse.

I am also incredibly blessed by fact I am a much LOVED person - one of the Fellas I have never met spontaneously reached out to offer to drive me where I need to go when I reach the Nasville area this week. Its the LOVE you peoples show me in this regard that makes it possible for me to spend as much time as I DO on the road. I am grateful to you every day.

I’ll drop some FRESH stuff I got in the can this week before I leave.

ALSO - I have NOT forgotten about the need for us to find a new CHAT server/online hangout. I’ll TCB in this regard when I get BACK from the ROAD - the week of 5/18. And we’ll resume with a weekly LIVESTREAM on Saturdays. THANX for being patient!
