I would gather this essay is about identifying the distinctive characteristics of this or that viewpoints. Discerning which is truly an incurable malady is quite the task given my own limitations aswell. However, the nuggets I'm capable of seeing in these words do help me to be a more conscientious of place and habitat to ask what is it to be an occupant.

"As a historical Revisionist, I can state honestly and with a certain enthusiasm derived admittedly (at least in part) from pride, that I have observed in my lifetime Revisionist scholarship develop from the humblest of origins to becoming practically a mainstream tendency in forums where serious historical and military research is facilitated and encouraged. Not so long ago, the exclusive outlets for any viewpoint relating to the European War of 1939-41, the subsequent World War of 1941-45, and the cult of Jewish martyrdom therein that constituted anything other than a kind of hysterical, quasi-religious, moral cant that presented the War against the German Reich as the epitome of human evil and Adolf Hitler in newsletters published (often on irregular schedule) by erstwhile organizations like the Institute for Historical Review and concerned almost exclusively with the Second World War and specifically the more outlandish claims presented by the Nuremberg charging instrument relating to the mass homicide of Jewish civilians by the German Reich.

Twenty years into the 21st century, and three decades after the capitulation of Warsaw Pact, historical Revisionism - and the demand for historical research methodologies that are both integral and reliable - is practically mainstream. The scope of interest now encompasses the whole of the 20th Century and not merely The Holocaust and its theological narrative trappings."

Is English your first language? The paragraphs here were poorly written and it seems to be condemning negationism whilst at the same time promoting debunked low casualties: whilst the number of victims ranged from over 4 million Jews and over 4 million non-Jews to over 7 million Jews and over 7 million non-Jews, we have known it was the latter since the early 2020s. It is unknown if human soap and lampshades were in mass production, but since the Hitlerites engaged in mass experimentation and enslavement of the fit victims, and ground fit and weak victims into fertilizer, we can assume mass production of human soap and lampshades did indeed exist. The Holocaust industry is a serious concern but Holocaust deniers (most hate sites and Hamas) negationists (the Institute for Historical Review and other pseudo-academics) and minimalists (Radio Islam) are just a bunch of racist whiners who are butthurt over Jesus being executed for causing a Capitol style riot at the Temple over a Church fete.

The left/right paradigm crumbles in historical context. The meaning of politically right, socially right, and economically right varies throughout time, as the socio-political realities of the era construct and confine what men think real and possible. The most left-wing iconoclast in 1849 would find themselves totally lost today, without party, without friends, and without identity. It should be no surprise to rational thinkers that influences can come from all aisles of political thought. Just because a left- or right-winger said something doesn't mean it's not true, or useful to the other side. The most successful political actor is he who can adopt and apply such truths regardless of their ideological origin.
