Did you make his voice more intelligible? I tried listening when this first came out and the background noise made it hard to understand Mr. Claux.

I'm stoked on Season 2, by the way

Aw.... I thought this was the next episode. This interview was incredibly fascinating. This is the kind of content I subscribe for. You can't get this anywhere else. I can't wait for the next interview.

Do you know the writings of Peter Sotos? I mention him as he is a fellow Chicago native of yours. A generation older than you, I believe.

One might call him a true crime revisionist. He is a highly skilled and literate writer, but of the absolutely most brutal kind. Darker than de Sade, and believe me, that is not hyberbole. He was friends with the Feral House crew, Jim Goad, and those of that ilk. Honestly, he is the only writer of a true crime nature worth reading, if you can stomach it.

Claux was an early fan of his, and since Sotos was writing from the mid 80s, I wouldnā€™t be surprised if Sotos was a significant influence on Claux, artistic or otherwise.

All the best.

OK, this should be interesting. I remember reading an interview in Slayer Mag some decades ago.

Disturbing but brilliant

In former, saner, happier times Monsieur Claux would have met with Madame Guillotine one fine early morning. Given his predilections that should have been a joyful occasion for him. But I note that M. Claux is a lot like these do-gooders, who do good only with other peoples' money, but never their own.
