Appreciate this. On the ThinkPad front, FWIW, AMD >/= Intel CPUs these days. Intel lost a lot of face this year in connection with its random voltage spikes in certain high-end processors, which cause degradation in proportion to usage, that many believe Intel knew of yet failed to disclose until some geek autist discovered it. Intel has mostly remedied the issue but much less its reputation. IMO, Intel is no longer worth the premium it often demands.
I understand. TY. When I DECIDE on the product/model/brand I am going to PURCHASE, I'll seek out your advices, and that of the rest of the Fellas before I drop $1,200 or whatever on the new machine.
